Jetzi Safety Guidelines

Safety guidance for riders and hosts on the Jetzi peer-to-peer jet ski rental marketplace.

Wear a life jacket

Every person on a personal watercraft should wear a properly fitted, locally approved life jacket at all times.

Use the kill switch

The engine cut-off lanyard should be attached to the rider whenever the jet ski is in operation.

Check local rules

Riders are responsible for understanding boating laws, age requirements and safety education requirements that apply in the area they are riding.

Pre-ride checks

Inspect the jet ski with the host before riding. Note any existing damage and confirm fuel levels.

Weather and conditions

Do not ride in unsafe weather or sea conditions. Hosts may cancel or limit a ride based on conditions.

Reporting incidents

Riders and hosts should report any incident or damage promptly through the platform.

Jetzi is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Jetzi is not a traditional rental company and does not directly provide jet skis, guided tours, instructors, fuel, insurance or launch locations. Each listing is managed by the individual host.
